PLN 71.7 Million for IIMCB Core Facilities – Expanding RACE Vision through the National Recovery Plan

The International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw (IIMCB) has secured PLN 71.7 million (€16.75M) under the National Recovery Plan to develop its cutting-edge Molecular and Cell Research Infrastructure — a key step in advancing the goals of the RACE project. Together with the infrastructure upgrades introduced under RACE, this funding brings IIMCB closer to its goal of becoming a world-class Centre of Excellence in RNA and Cell Biology, offering top-tier services to both academia and industry. The initiative also includes specialized training for research staff, technology transfer support, and IP management — all integral to RACE Work Package 3 (WP3), focused on enhancing methodological capacity and translational potential.
