On June 8, representatives of IIMCB took part in the second meeting of the Polish Teaming Club in Kraków.
The meeting brought together representatives of Polish Centers of Scientific Excellence and institutions supporting their development, which were established thanks to the Teaming for Excellence grant funded by HorizonEU and Horizon2020.

The meeting was also attended by the winners of the latest Teaming for Excellence competition under the Horizon Europe program: CERES – Centre of Excellence in Railway Engineering, QuRAK – Quantum Research and Applied Knowledge, and RAPTOR-HF – RAPid TranslatiOnal Research – Heart Failure.

The Polish Teaming Club promotes collaboration and mutual support in project implementation, while encouraging joint initiatives that contribute to the development of the Polish research ecosystem and its stronger presence on the international stage.

The atmosphere of the meeting showed that Teaming for Excellence is more than just a grant program. It is a growing community of people and institutions who believe that world-class science can also be developed in Poland – and this is confirmed every year by new successes.

The meeting in Kraków, combined with a training session conducted by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR), provided an opportunity for research teams to meet in person and discuss potential avenues for scientific collaboration between institutions.
