Krzysztof Skowronek presents IN-MOL-CELL workflows at CTLS 2025

At the Core Technologies for Life Sciences Congress 2025 in Brno, Dr. Krzysztof Skowronek, Head of the Biophysics and Bioanalytics Facility took part in the session „Cross-facility workflows and cooperation”, co-chaired by Aleš Benda and Josh Rappoport. Dr. Skowronek presented a talk titled: “Cross-Platform Collaboration to Develop New Models for Rare Diseases in IN-MOL-CELL infrastructure”, co-authored with Olga Gewartowska and Andrzej Dziembowski.

He presented a comprehensive pipeline that begins with gene candidate identification in collaboration with pediatric clinical partners and extends through the creation of advanced disease models in human cells, mice, zebrafish, and C. elegans. These models undergo detailed behavioral, physiological, transcriptomic, proteomic, and structural analyses. The goal is to deliver highly relevant disease models with multi-layered characterization — enabling breakthrough insights into rare disorders.
