IIMCB at the First CEE Congress for Research Managers and Administrators

The first CEE Congress for Research Managers and Administrators took place between November 4th and 5th in Brussels and gathered the region’s RMA community for two days of keynotes, panels, parallel workshops, focused sessions and networking. It was organized by the Brussels liaison offices of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland (PolSCA) and Slovakia and highlighted the importance of strengthening RMA visibility, good practices and shared standards.

IIMCB was represented by prof. Jacek Kuźnicki and Dorota Libiszowska.

Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki said: “As a former IIMCB director, a research manager (…) I would advise institute directors and university rectors to better use their RMAs, who should not be considered as a cost but rather as a gain.”

For IIMCB, the role of RMAs is especially important now, as the Institute grows with support from the RACE Teaming for Excellence project under Horizon Europe.
