The official inauguration of the Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence: RACE project

On January 10, 2024, IIMCB held the official kick-off of the RACE project, launching its path toward becoming a Centre of Excellence in RNA and Cell Biology. The event gathered representatives from the European Commission, FNP, the Embassies of the UK and Belgium, the City of Warsaw, and strategic partners from VIB and the University of Edinburgh. RACE, ranked #1 in Europe under Horizon Europe Teaming, will drive cutting-edge research, build modern infrastructure, and foster international collaboration — bringing science from bench to bedside.
