International Advisory Board Convenes at IIMCB to Guide Future Growth

From April 24–26, IIMCB hosted the annual meeting of its International Advisory Board (IAB) — a key event shaping the Institute’s strategic direction and research priorities. Renowned scientists from across Europe and the U.S. engaged in evaluations, discussions with Institute councils, and the final stage of the Junior Lab Leader selection process. The IAB also formally approved the Director’s annual report and provided expert feedback to Lab Leaders during thematic Q&A sessions. This high-level consultation reinforces the goals of the RACE project, supporting IIMCB’s transformation into a Centre of Excellence through structured leadership, global collaboration, and continued scientific excellence.
